Acoustic measurements were performed on 31 earphones and insert-earphones with single and multiple drivers to study the dependency of harmonic distortion and sound pressure level as well as variations in the frequency response. Results were compared against current target response curves. A dependency of THD and SPL was witnessed and quantified, enabling development of a model to interpolate THD values
